I grew up in Cincinnati, OH in, let’s say, a challenging environment. What I lacked in book smarts I made up for in sheer hustle! I had a few things going for me: I worked hard, believed in myself and never quit anything. I worked a few jobs after high school to just get by, but when I found the opportunity to use my “hustle” and confidence to better myself personally and professionally, I “took my one shot!”
